He is son of actor Oreste Lionello and actress Ninni Lionello, brother of director Fabio Luigi Lionello, and actress Cristiana Lionello, dubber Alessia Lionello and actor Davide Lionello, as well as nephew to actress Irene Cefaro.
An aging, down-on-his-luck Italian conductor reluctantly travels back to Havana, Cuba, to oversee performances of compositions in which he specializes.
