Alan Jonsson Gavica, a Mexican filmmaker, screenwriter, and producer hailing from Mazatlán, discovered his passion for cinematography through the lens of still photography. His cinematic journey commenced with the creation of his first short film, "Knowing" (1999). In 2004, he established Esfera Films Entertainment, where he took on the roles of writer, director, and producer for his first feature, "Morenita, The Scandal."
Following this success, Alan's second feature film, "The Load" (2016), gained international acclaim, earning numerous awards at prestigious film festivals. In 2020, he co-directed the short film "Good Morning Ignacio," showcasing his versatility.
Demonstrating his directorial prowess in 2021, Alan ventured into American cinema with "Torn From Her Arms," a poignant production for LifeTime. His contributions continue to leave an indelible mark on the global film landscape.
